 Community P.R.I.D.E.

Community P.R.I.D.E. is an organization that began at Lafayette High in 1977 under the leadership of Ms. Patricia Colbert-Cormier.  This organization is now a part of the community and students from all the middle(7th and 8th grade)  and high schools in the area are invited to become a member.  It is presently under the auspices of  the Pat Colbert-Cormier Education Foundation and as part of the Foundation will be invited to do mission work in Jiloor Jiaak, Senegal, West Africa.

 2008 Leadership Summit

Leadership Academy will consist of high-energy, highly participatory speakers, presenters’ and engaging sessions bringing together a variety of professionals in our  community, leaders, businessmen and women, students in grades 6-8, students in grades 9-12, scholars, public leaders, trainers, artists, activists, teachers, and students from all of the various streams of practice that exist in this critically important field.
