Community P.R.I.D.E.
Community P.R.I.D.E. is an organization that began at Lafayette High in 1977 under the leadership of Ms. Patricia Colbert-Cormier. This organization is now a part of the community and students from all the middle(7th and 8th grade) and high schools in the area are invited to become a member. It is presently under the auspices of the Pat Colbert-Cormier Education Foundation and as part of the Foundation will be invited to do mission work in Jiloor Jiaak, Senegal, West Africa.

Leadership Summit
Leadership Academy will consist of high-energy, highly participatory
speakers, presenters’ and engaging sessions bringing together a variety
of professionals in our
community, leaders, businessmen and women, students in grades 6-8,
students in grades 9-12, scholars, public leaders, trainers, artists,
activists, teachers, and students from all of the various streams of
practice that exist in this critically important field.
